Scholarship Program
The Polish American Arts Association is co-sponsoring its annual Chopin concert with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Washington DC. Performing will be violinist Krzysztof Zimowski who wowed us at the ACPC Convention in Chicago, accompanied by Dr. Jarosław Gołembiowski. The program includes the most beautiful of Chopin’s melodies from his Nocturnes, Waltzes, and Mazurkas beautifully rendered in the expressive hands of Krzysztof Zimowski. In part two we will hear music by Felix Borowski, Jaroslaw Golembiowski, Henryk Wieniawski, Karol Szymanowski
The Embassy’s beautiful interior is reminiscent of 18th century European decorating, with historic decorative sculpturing, crystal chandeliers, and gold gilding. for more info go to http://www.paaa.us/events/
