Sponsorship Request – Remembrance and Thanks

Dear  Friends
We are so grateful for your continued interest in Chicago Chopin Society, and kindly ask for your support and participation in an important community virtual event:

Remembrance and Thanks

This 45 minute program, to be first presented as a Facebook Live Event in November, will feature the LCO and the debut of two new virtual videos: music of Mozart “performed at home” by 30 of LCO orchestra members and a new composition, the “Soul of America,” by maestro Philip Simmons
with computer generated sounds-and accompanying iconic paintings by renown American artists.

The orchestra recording session will be on Saturday, October 24, at the Polish National Alliance, who is our Principal Sponsor.  Music will be performed by our 12 piece string orchestra, and include the opening movement of Jaroslaw Golembiowski’s “Suite for Heroes,” dedicated to our first responders, health care workers, and educators.  There will also be a special virtual performance by vocalist Van Gilmer (from his home in Wilmette) of “Deep River “and his timely and moving composition, “JUSTICE (The Best Beloved of all Things).”

01/02/2020

Greetings and Happy New Year 2020
Friends and Supporters of Chicago Chopin Society!

2019 Chicago Chopin Society has collaborated and organized many interesting events.  Our guest distinguished artist Roman Salyutov treated us  with piano recital in May.  The same month we proudly presented music at the 100 Years of the Polish Red Cross lecture organized by Niklinski family at the Polish Museum of America.

Our continuous collaboration with Lincolnwood Chamber Orchestra brought us concert  of Polish music All Traditions New Frontiers with the world premiere of Salutatio et oratio the Copernicus Center.

In September  some of us attended American Council for Polish Culture-71 st Annual Convention (http://polishcultureacpc.org/Conv_2019/Report_2019.html). It is my great honor to serve now as ACPC’s 1st Vice President.

These are just few examples of our activities.

In order to pursue Chicago Chopin Society goals we are still gratefully accepting  donations through the Facebook fundraising page.
